AZCIA is very fortunate to welcome Mr. Rick Nelson of Eide Bailly as the featured speaker. Rick will be presenting on The New RRG Model Act and New Corporate Governance Model Act and Filing and will be discussing the recently adopted NAIC Model Risk Retention Act focusing on Section 3D regarding corporate governance, which was adopted as an accreditation standard for captive risk retention groups at last week’s NAIC National Meeting.  An overview of the new NAIC Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure Model Act and Model Regulation will also be discussed.  

With more than 25 years of regulatory experience, Rick Nelson, CFE, CIE, is a Principal at the public accounting and consulting firm Eide Bailly LLP where he serves as Director of Insurance Regulatory Services.

The AZCIA is pleased to announce we will facilitate a Q&A session with Vince Gosz, Chief Captive Analyst with AZ DOI, during this event. As a benefit to AZCIA members, you may submit questions for the DOI to address in this informal setting. We ask that you provide your questions by  12:00 noon September 11th to info@azcia.com. Questions should be generic enough to keep specific names/organizations confidential. The questions will be forwarded anonymously to the DOI, so identities will not be revealed.
