At Artex Risk Solutions, Inc., we help build dynamic programs - guaranteed cost through alternative risk - designed to manage the cost of risk. We have the ability to customize an insurance program to support specific objectives. Artex has 12 office locations throughout North America, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• With more senior staff, develops and implements policies and procedures
• Anticipates and provides solutions to the most complex finance and accounting problems
• Manages variety of ongoing accounting functions which may include day-to-day activities as well as more specialized accounting activities
• Accounting for multiple entities
• Review of tax returns for multiple entities
• Coordinating external audits and actuarial studies
• Coordinating accounting services and integrating with operational needs
• Working with regulators to ensure compliance
• Maintain client relationships
Qualifications
• Required: Bachelor's degree, 5 years of Public Accounting experience, Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Desired: Property & Casualty Insurance experience preferred
